Statement on COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Dear valued customer,

At Combined Waste Services Pty Ltd, the safety and well-being of our employees, customers are our top priority. We are actively monitoring the evolving COVID-19/Coronavirus situation have been actively taking steps to help keep our communities safe. We wanted to share with you some steps we are taking here at Combined Waste Services Pty Ltd.

Aligning with public health authorities
We are closely monitoring updates regarding COVID-19 from the World Health Organization, local authorities and other health organizations for every region in which Combined Waste Services Pty Ltd operates. We will continue to seek guidance from these agencies, public health officials and government agencies on an ongoing basis and make adjustments to our operations as reasonably practicable.

Protecting our customers and employees
During this time we will do our utmost to continue supplying the best service. However, because our employees interact directly onsite with customers and the general public which due to the very nature of our business is at times unavoidable, please be assured that we are taking every step reasonably practicable to limit potential exposure to the virus. We have put restrictions on unnecessary corporate travel, we are also limiting the size of all meetings and opting for online virtual meetings.

We have changed the way we work in our offices, to enable social distancing and have taken steps to enable remote work to take place. Furthermore, all visitors are provided with screening questions and warnings before being allowed to sign-in to the office.

Additionally, we have protocols in place to inform staff about hand hygiene, disinfection and appropriate procedures based on recommendations by government and health agencies. We are providing additional PPE to our operators, are providing access to instant hand sanitiser to all staff.

Please be assured that we will do everything possible in maintaining our exceptional service performance, to mitigate any negative impact on your business. Our business continuity planning means that we can continue to operate even with strict staff isolation enforced.
